Wallace Wolf Jr., DVM
(Retired, Founder of The Dalles Vet)
Retired after forty years of veterinary practice, Dr. Wolf received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Kansas State University. After serving in the United States Army from August 1966 to August 1968, he came to The Dalles Veterinary Hospital in October 1968. Throughout those years, he provided veterinary care for the large and small animals of many, many families of The Dalles, and volunteered his time to multiple civic organizations and activities. His son, John, and his daughter, Mindy, grew up in The Dalles, and they are raising their children in the area as well, allowing Dr. Wolf and his wife, Vicki, to spend time with their grandchildren, Gillian, Emma, Mia, and Mead. Dr. Wolf continues to take care of his own pets, and he enjoys spending time hunting, fishing, boating, horseback riding, and traveling.  When we see Dr. Wolf, he often says that since he's retired, he's busy enough that it feels like there's less time in the day!

Dan Davidson, DVM
Partner/Owner

Picture
Dr. Davidson is a fourth-generation resident of The Dalles. After attending Oregon State University for his undergraduate studies, he obtained his DVM degree at Washington State University.  He joined our practice in 1978 as a mixed animal practitioner, and has special interest in zoo animal medicine, providing veterinary care for a small camel, Walla Roo, elk, and giraffe population. Over the years he has had many pets including horses, mules, donkeys, a crow, infinite cats, and a raccoon ("Bad idea," he says.) His wife Mary, and their three children have kept him busy, along with his wide range of interests. He studies theology, pursues wildlife photography with trail cameras, and enjoys traveling to meetings with his wife, especially to places that allow them to visit their children, siblings, and in-laws.

Hailee Olheiser, DVM

A native of The Dalles, Dr. Hailee Olheiser has always been an active community member. A graduate of Washington State University, she received her bachelor’s in animal science and A Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine with honors in her class. Dr. Olheiser worked in the Willamette Valley at a mixed animal practice before returning home to start her career at The Dalles Vet Hospital. Dr. Olheiser enjoys her horse Stryker and her four dogs Chief, King, Drake, and Birdie. She also enjoys many hobbies in her spare time including barrel racing, hiking, and camping. Hailee still takes pride in being a part of the community and serves on the Wasco County Mounted Sheriffs’ Posse.

Kim Robichaud, DVM

Dr. Robichaud ("Row-bi-show") grew up in northern New Mexico. She moved to the Midwest to attend veterinary school at Michigan State University and has been with the practice since 1993.  She is currently owned by two cats, Phoenix and Pie, and two goldfish, to whom she refers as "the white one and the orange one".  At the office, she treats cats and dogs and has a special interest in geriatric medicine and dental care.  Outside of the office, she participates in community theater, hikes, takes road trips, and makes and wears crazy costumes.

Jacqueline Parker
Practice Manager

Jackie grew up all over the world, she was originally born in Germany! She recently moved back to the area from Montana. Before that she resided in Florida for many years. Jackie comes to us with over 15 years of experience in emergency veterinary medicine, specialty hospitals as well as several years doing practice management. She spent quite a bit of time working for the University of Florida and brings with her the expertise of a teaching college!  Her experience ranges from dogs to horses, and even as unique as primates!  Jackie has a passion for working dogs and has been involved with police work as well as search and rescue for many years. Jackie avidly pursues professional development with seminars and different opportunities to further her knowledge.  When not helping clients and their pets to maintain healthy happy lives, you can usually find Jackie outdoors with her other half and their two dogs: Eli, a Dutch Shepherd and Sarin, a Belgian Malinois.

Receptionists

Lisa Harding
Receptionist

Lisa's friendly face has been cheerfully greeting the clients and patients of The Dalles Veterinary Hospital since August 2014.  She and her husband have multiple four-legged family members including four horses, two dogs, three cats, two rabbits, and chickens that they keep as pets and for fresh eggs. Lisa is a full-on health and fitness fanatic and when she isn't welcoming people and their pets to our hospital, she can be found snowmobiling, lifting weights at the gym, cooking, horseback riding, scrapbooking, watching Hallmark movies, and taking road trips in her RV.

Jane White
Receptionist

Jane grew up in the Pacific Northwest with a variety of beloved childhood pets. Now she resides in The Dalles with
her cat Tobio (Toe-bee-oh) and her gerbil Yuki (you-key). She began her career in animal care doing Positive- Reinforcement Animal Training and Fear Free Pet Sitting for 4 years, then switched to the medical side upon being  hired at The Dalles Veterinary Hospital in the fall of 2022 as a receptionist. Now she floats in between the front and  back, so you may see her behind the desk greeting clients, or in the exam rooms assisting the veterinarians.
When she  isn’t working at the clinic, she is teaching her cat tricks at home or enjoying her passion for watercolors, while painting the beautiful nature found in The Gorge.
